Lumi Privacy Policy

  1. Consent to the Privacy Policy: Use of the Lumi application signifies your consent to this privacy policy and to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the terms set forth below.
  2. Collection and Use of Personal Data: When you use Lumi, we may collect certain information about you, including your name, age, gender, and other information that you provide voluntarily. This data is used solely for the purpose of providing services to you and improving the user experience.
  3. AI Data Processing and Third-Party Sharing: In order to provide you with personalized tarot readings and astrological insights, our app sends certain information to our servers and AI service providers. However, this information is not stored in any way.
    • What data is shared: When you use the tarot spread or profile features, the following data may be transmitted to the AI service: your provided name, gender, and zodiac sign; your selected spread preferences (e.g., reversed cards, arcana); and any specific questions or prompts you enter for a reading. We do NOT share your photos or camera feed unless it is necessary for the visual analysis feature (if applicable). The photos you set for your profile are just visual personalization for you as a user.
    • Purpose of sharing: This data is shared solely to generate natural language interpretations of tarot cards and personalized astrological guidance based on your profile.
  4. Data Security: We take all measures necessary to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. All data is stored on secure servers and protected by technical and organizational security measures.
  5. Disclosure to Third Parties: We do not share your personal information with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law, as necessary to process refund requests for in-app purchases, or as described in section 3 regarding AI processing. In the event of a refund request, we may share certain anonymized data with Apple.
  6. Changes to Our Privacy Policy: We reserve the right to change this privacy policy. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your use of Lumi after such changes will be deemed your consent to the updated policy.
  7. Disclaimer: By using Lumi, you release the developers from liability for any claims relating to the content of the app. The app is not intended for use by persons under a certain age.
